Magnificent example of Jesuit architecture, this Baroque church has a majestic façade with statues enriched by sumptuous decorations on its interior too.

The original church of the 12th century, belonging to the order of Crociferi, was bought in 1657 from the Jesuit, who rebuilt it during 1715 and 1730 with a Baroque façade enriched by sculptural decorations, based on Romanesque designs by Fattoretto and built it thanks to a donation by the Manin family.
In the sumptuous interior, above the left altar, is the Martirio di S. Lorenzo, work by Tiziano (1558).
