The Grand Canal is the main sea route crossing and splitting Venice in two. The Constitution Bridge was opened to public on the night of September 11, 2008. After the Rialto Bridge of the XVI century, the Scalzi Bridge and the Accademia Bridge of the 1930s, the Constitution Bridge is the fourth bridge over the Grand Canal, linking the railway station to Piazzale Roma.
